Episode 36: Losing My Religion (Season 2 Finale)

WELCOME TO AN EPISODE THREE YEARS IN THE MAKING. We have finally made it to the indelible season 2 finale of Grey's Anatomy and WOW we have a lot of Izzie Stevens energy so ////strap//// in. Patrice takes care of our Rounds this week (3:40) before we get started with a summary of the Burke/Yang situation; the intern interrogations inspire our new doo-wop trio, Denny and the LVAD Cutters (18:36); oh yeah DENNY DIES and it's surprisingly sad (44:15); Megan is moved to open sobbing by the death of Doc, the Metaphor Dog (57:42); and we introduce our final M&M of Season 2 (1:13:00), which includes the best Song of the Week of the series so far.

Welcome to Season 2, Episode 23 of Grey's Anatomy where we begin, NATURALLY, with a Lenny Kravitz tangent before diving into which terrible post-coitus scene in the opener is the absolute WORST post-coitus scene of the opener; the not-so-meaningful differences between McVet and McDreamy (17:15); Burke, George, and the one and only Gene McFoot (23:00); our personal Gene McFoots; a heated debate over Alex Karev as either proletariat hero or misogynist villain (40:00); Denny continues to delay the inevitable (59:00); and our weekly M&M (1:04:15) including two STELLAR Songs of the Week.
